LATE NIGHT U2 - Band on U.S. TV all week

Every night this week, from today through Friday, the four-man Irish band will appear as the musical guests on "Late Night with David Letterman." This will be the band's first return visit to the show since 2001, when U2 performed "Stuck in a Moment You Can't Get Out Of," barely a month after 9/11.
This marks the first time any band or solo artist has guested for an entire week on the show. It remains to be seen whether Bono or any of U2's other members will be invited over to Dave's on-set couch to participate in an interview during the five telecasts. For those of you who get to bed really late, you can also check out U2's performance this Friday on Good Morning America.

Fleetwood Mac Confirm Spring Tour

For the first time in their storied career, Fleetwood Mac is touring behind something other than a new album. In this case, they’re releasing a greatest hits collection called Unleashed and a special CD/DVD edition of their evergreen classic Rumours.
"There have been discussions for sure that we would love to make some more music," drummer Mick Fleetwood admitted during a teleconference with the rest of the band. "And I think it’s really down to the whole sort of bio-rhythms of how everyone is feeling and what’s appropriate. We have careers and families and whole different sort of perspectives from what it would have been, you know, 20, 30 years ago, and going onward from there."
As for when this whole tour is happening, it gets started on March 1 in Pittsburgh and winds down on May 31 in San Diego.

Before heading out on the road next month for her big Circus tour, Britney Spears has reportedly started work on a new music video.

In Touch Weekly is reporting that the pop star will be shooting the video at an unidentified location outside Malibu in Pacific Palisades, California on Wednesday (February 11). The report doesn't specify which song Spears is shooting the video for, but it's likely it will be the third single off of Circus, the already controversial song, "If U Seek Amy."

According to In Touch, the video's dancers were told to be at the shoot hours before Spears was set to arrive. "The dancers are all dressed in metallic colors, and shiny tights. They look awesome, with sequins all over their outfits," an eyewitness told the magazine. The source added that the shoot was expected to take a full day, and would go into the night.

"When she works, she is into it and gets it done," an insider tells In Touch. "She looks great and is so fun to work with. She is funny and professional and has tons of energy today."

In other Spears news, the singer has rehired her former personal assistant Felicia Culotta, who had been most recently working for the Jonas Brothers, the BBC reported. Culotta appeared as a teacher in Spears' "Baby One More Time" music video.

"Britney has always held a special place in my heart and, over the course of the last year, I have seen her work harder than she ever has in her entire life," Culotta told Spears' Web site. "I felt I had to be a part of this exciting time in Britney's career. I love Britney and missed her dearly."

Also, according to E! Online, Britney and ex-husband Kevin Federline have finalized the custody arrangement that will allow K-Fed to bring their sons on the road for Britney's tour next month.

"Kevin is working to make them accessible by going on various central locations in various areas of the country," Federline lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan said last week. "He is doing that because he wants her to be able to have the maximum positive environment around her to assure that the tour will be successful."

Nicholas Berkeley "Nick" Mason (born 27 January 1944 in Edgbaston, Birmingham, England) is the drummer for Pink Floyd. He has been the only constant member of the band since its formation in 1964. He also competes in auto racing events, such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The son of the documentary film maker Bill Mason, he was born in Birmingham but brought up in Hampstead, London (many online biographies mistakenly cite the street address Downshire Hill - sometimes as "the Downshire Hills" - as a district of Birmingham) and attended Frensham Heights School, Surrey. He later studied at the Regent Street Polytechnic (now the University of Westminster), where he teamed up with Roger Waters, Bob Klose and Richard Wright in 1964 to form Pink Floyd's predecessor
Mason is married (to his second wife, Nettie) and has four children; two daughters (Holly and Chloe) from his first marriage and two sons (Guy and Cary) from his second. They live in Hampstead, London however they often stay in the Wiltshire town of Corsham in the former home of Camilla Parker Bowles.
As Floyd's recording and touring schedule grew more sporadic, Mason was left with more time to pursue his favourite hobby: auto racing. He owns (through his company Ten Tenths) and races several classic cars, and has competed successfully at the 24 hours of Le Mans. His collection has been a subject of his 1998 book, Into the Red which he documents his experience with his cars along with some histories. He is also a qualified pilot, and flies a Aerospatiale AS 350 Squirrel helicopter in specially painted colours.
Mason was invited by Ferrari to purchase one of their 400 Enzos, which Jeremy Clarkson pleaded with him to borrow for reviewing purposes on the BBC motoring programme Top Gear. Mason agreed, on the sole condition that throughout the review, Clarkson promoted the release of the book Inside Out: A Personal History of Pink Floyd. This led to Clarkson using Pink Floyd album titles in his description of the Enzo and The Stig driving round the track with "Another Brick In The Wall" playing (despite the fact that the Enzo does not come equipped with a stereo). Mason says that his favourite car of all time is the Ferrari 250 GTO, and owns one of the 36 built. He later sold his Enzo to millionaire Mohammad Jamil for £650 000.
Nick Mason's book, Inside Out: A Personal History of Pink Floyd, was published in the UK in October 2004. It is also available, abridged, as a 3CD audio book, read by Mason.
He is worth £55 million according to the Sunday Times Rich List 2006-2007
