New Bangladesh graves uncovered after mutiny

More bodies are being found in the capital Dhaka, at the scene of a violent revolt by border guards. Those killed are to be buried with state honours.

More than 80 bodies have been recovered and authorities expect the number to rise.

Evidence is emerging that the mutiny appears to have been well-planned and well-funded.

Bangladesh BDR incidence 2009 - mass grave found

Authorities in Bangladesh on Saturday uncovered bodies from a mass grave after a mutiny by paramilitary troops that killed at least 80 people earlier in the week,mostly army officers.More than 50 bodies were discovered at the mass grave on Friday with Bangladesh Rifles commander Major-General Shakil Ahmed among the dead.A colonel and his wife visiting the BDR chief when the mutiny broke out were also killed.
