Popular video sharing blog Youtube have been blocked in Bangladesh. It is assumed that due to local BDR incidence, Bangladesh government has blocked this site. Some bloggers from Somewhserinblog (Local Bangladesh blogsite) tried to acknowledge this information in front of media through their blogging at 10:20 PM (6th March 2009) but after 24 hour daily Prothom Alo (Bangladeshi leading Local News paper) has published this information.Now question – “Is it the sing of fading the Digital Bangladesh Dream?”
Bangaldesh is not Fading, it is only the side effects of some troubled actions.
উত্তরমুছুনBut I would rather ask, does Youtube or other currntly blocked service by BD is harming us anyway even tough some sensitive and manipulated contents are there !!!
Only the contents that are sensitive or emotional can be blocked not the whole gateway of Information.
I think there is not anything to blame at the Internet and communication gateways. Lets get a better a way.
